The Marshall County Strings Program will present its annual Alumni concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the John Marshall High School Center for Performing Arts. Marshall Memo: Happenings in Moundsville; Cameron; and Christmas Ornaments

Several matters were outlined by Moundsville City Manager Rick Healy at Tuesday’s meeting. A dog park was opened recently in the southern section of Riverfront Park. There are two enclosed sides—one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. A formal ribbon cutting will take place in the spring when a water hydrant will be installed. The local Wreaths Across America Ceremony will be held Dec. 16, beginning at noon at Riverview Cemetery. This year more than 1,500 wreaths will be placed. The annual Christmas Parade will take place today (Saturday) in Cameron. The line-up for the parade will begin at the former high school parking lot.
