Editor, News-Register: My life took a sudden turn for the worse about a month ago, Sept. 7, when a woman riding a bike with a cell phone to her ear on Wheeling’s Heritage Trail did not hear me say “passing on the left” and came over into me, causing an accident that led to a firetruck, ambulance, an ER visit, surgery, a week in the hospital, a bad case of bronchitis and pain and inconvenience.
