WVU Baseball Pauses Activities
The West Virginia University baseball team has stopped all team activities for the next seven days due to COVID-19 protocols. The Mountaineers were unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12. WVU’s first four home games (Kent State for three and Marshall on March 9) have been postponed until a later date that has not been determined yet. The Mountaineers’ next scheduled contest is March 11 at home against Central Michigan. WVU opened the season 4-3 before the current pause in the action.
