MORGANTOWN -- The much anticipated No. 10 West Virginia (15-6) at No. 2 Baylor (17-0) game slated for Thursday night has been canceled.
The Big 12 Conference made some adjustments to its basketball schedule for the week of March 1-7, to avoid having a team play three games in successive weeks
It didn't work out too badly for the Mountaineers, who will now play three home games during that week.
The first of those three games is No. 2 Baylor at No. 10 West Virginia on Tuesday, March 2 at 5 p.m. on ESPN2.
The Bears currently lead the Big 12 with a 9-0 mark, while the Mountaineers are fourth with an 8-4 standing.
On Thursday, March 4, West Virginia will host TCU (11-9) on ESPN+. The time is to be decided.
The week wraps up for the Mountaineers on Saturday, March 6 as they welcome Oklahoma State (15-6) into the WVU Coliseum on ESPN2.
The time is yet to be announced.
Several other game announcements include No. 14 Texas at No. 7 Oklahoma on Thursday, March 4 and Texas Tech at Baylor on Sunday, March 7.
