Donald and Minnie Taylor of Wheeling celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Nov. 26.They were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 1955, by the Rev. William M. Erhard at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, where they remain as active members.Donald Taylor is the son of the late Robert and Bertha Taylor. Tom and Sue (Oliver) Hohman of Triadelphia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 25.The couple was united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1965, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheeling.They have three children: Heidi Hohman and Jodie Hohman, both of Wheeling, and Julie Meier and son-in-law Leo Meier of Chippewa Township, Pa.The couple was honored with a surprise champagne brunch for family and friends hosted by their daughters at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park. They will celebrate their golden anniversary with a trip to Alaska this summer.

Advent ProcessionThe traditional Advent Procession of Lessons and Carols will be presented at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1410 Chapline St., Wheeling, at 4 p.m. today, Nov. 29.
