Nick and Roberta Jordan of Wheeling celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 26.They were united in marriage on Dec. 26, 1955, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Warwood, Wheeling.Nick Jordan is retired from Conrail. Roberta Jordan is a retired nurse.They are parents of two children and four grandchildren. Son Greg resides in Sewickley, Pa., with his wife, Ellen, and two daughters. Daughter Suellen resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, Jose, and their two children.They celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner.

Fawcetts Celebrate 73rd

Dr. R. Alan and Jane Fawcett of Wheeling will celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary Tuesday, Dec. 29.They were united in marriage Dec. 29, 1942 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. John H.A. Bamberger officiating the ceremony.Jane Fawcett is the fomer Jane Houston Neudoerfer of Wheeling.Fawcett served as a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Germany for two years.
