Residents Helping One Another

Editor, News-Register: Thank you to all who helped make the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Annual Food Drive a success. I am truly grateful for all the residents who generously donated, all the companies, schools, and groups who donated food items or made monetary donations, for the entities that acted as “donation stations” where the community members could drop off donations, and for the stores that ran in-store food collections. Editor, News-Register: That Nikki Haley isn’t the GOP frontrunner says something very strange about that party. She has the requisite experience. She has clearly been the smartest candidate on the debate stage. She is a real conservative choice. Biden’s campaign must be terrified about running against a young and vibrant candidate. Editor, News-Register: When our members of Congress pat themselves on the back for jobs created during a certain period, most of which aren’t sufficient to support a family, why is it that we never hear about jobs lost, business closings, layoffs and bankrupt filings.
