WVU Men’s Hoops Next Two Home Games Postponed

The next two home games for the West Virginia men’s basketball team have been postponed. The Big 12 Conference made the announcement on Tuesday. The Mountaineers were scheduled to face TCU on Jan. 16 and Oklahoma State on Jan. 19. On Monday, it was also announced that West Virginia’s matchup at Baylor that was scheduled for Tuesday was also postponed with a reschedule date that was still to be determined. Oscar Tshiebwe Will Transfer To Kentucky

Former West Virginia standout Oscar Tshiebwe will transfer to Kentucky. Tshiebwe announced on Twitter that he will continue his career as a Wildcat. Tshiebwe announced he was leaving the Mountaineers for personal reasons on Jan. 1. The sophomore played 10 games for West Virginia this season and averaged 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest. During his freshman year at West Virginia, he led the team in scoring as he tallied 11.2 points per game and also grabbed 9.3 rebounds per outing. He was named All-Big 12 Conference Second Team.
