MOUNDSVILLE — The annual Elizabethtown Festival will be held Sept. 10-11 at the former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville. The festival celebrates the traditions and customs of the past. Polish Festival Begins With Mass

WEIRTON — Sacred Heart of Mary Parish in Weirton will celebrate their annual Polish Fest on Sunday, Aug. 7 from noon-8 p.m. at the Serbian Picnic Grounds in Weirton. The festivities will begin with a Polka Mass at noon.  Music for the Mass will be provided by Tom Zielinsky on his accordion. Celebrate Lebanese Culture at Mahrajan

WHEELING —  Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Wheeling will host its 83rd annual Mahrajan — a Lebanese Festival —  on Sunday, Aug. 14 at Oglebay Park. The Mahrajan will open with a Maronite Catholic Liturgy to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
