St. Joseph Fest Set for July 30

WEIRTON — The St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Italian Festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on July 30 at the Serbian Picnic Grounds on Kings Creek Road. Featuring Italian entertainment, there also will be Italian food and pastries. A full-service bar is planned by organizers. The festival will feature crafters, inflatables for kids, a Chinese auction, games and $10,000 drawing. Parking costs $5 per vehicle, organizers said. The Weirton Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly challenge during the festival featuring a bocce tournament.

Polish Festival Begins With Sunday Mass

WEIRTON — Sacred Heart of Mary Parish in Weirton will celebrated its annual Polish Fest from noon-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6 at the Serbian Picnic Grounds in Weirton.
