Ruth Elizabeth Ullum Monroe, 84, of Bethany, WV, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at home. She was born November 14, 1941, in Dallas, WV, daughter of the late Everett and Margaret Taylor Ullum. Ruth retired from the housekeeping department at Wheeling Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Monroe; two brothers, Bill and Sam Ullum; two sisters, Mae Charlton and Susie Dulice; and grandson, Zac Monroe. Shirrel Francis Huggins, 88 of Wellsburg, WV passed away January 25, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born April 24, 1937, in Wileyville, WV to the late Harley and Opal Yoho Huggins.
