Betty J. (Cunningham) Weitzel, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Wheeling, WV, at the age of 98. She was born on January 9, 1928, in Benwood, WV Betty was a retired secretary for the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department. After her retirement, she continued to give back to her community as a volunteer at Wheeling Hospital. Betty was preceded in death by her loving parents, Esther M. (Long) Cunningham and Elzie H.
