Wheeling Country Day School third-graders raised more than $1,000 for the Ohio County Animal Shelter through a student-run Market Day, where they designed and operated stations offering goods and services such as face painting and rubber-band bracelets. The students presented Ohio County Animal Shelter Manager Dave Campbell with $1,024 in donations. Campbell visited the classroom with one of the shelter’s dogs as the students turned over the funds.
