Center McMechen Elementary School students, faculty and staff observed Autism Acceptance Week, April 7-10, wrapping up the celebration on Friday with a school-wide Sensory Friendly Parade.
Each grade carried a banner with an autism awareness fact along with sensory output items such as bubbles, lights, headphones and more.
This year's theme was “Celebrate Minds of All Kinds.”
