McCoys Celebrate 50th

Ron and Susan McCoy of New Martinsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday, Nov. 17.They were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1964 in Wheeling.Ron McCoy is the son of the late Ted and Betty McCoy. He is retired from Bayer Corp.Susan McCoy is the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Underwood. She is a homemaker.They are members of the Bridge Street Church of Christ in New Martinsville.The couple has two children. Ron McCoy Jr. and his wife, Lori, and Elizabeth Melott and her husband, Clark, all of New Martinsville. They have one granddaughter.

50 Years for Van Horns

Lloyd and Judy Van Horn of Wellsburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 17.They were united in marriage on Oct. 17, 1964 at Bethany Memorial Church in Bethany.Lloyd Van Horn is retired from Weirton Steel Co. Judy Van Horn is retired from West Liberty University.They are the parents of two children, Mark (Joann) Van Horn and Amy (Keith) Francis. They have two grandchildren.They celebrated with a family dinner at Drovers Inn, Wellsburg, and a trip to Sanibel Island, Fla.

Rosets Mark 50th Year

James and Carol Roset of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Nov. 14.They were united in marriage Nov. 14, 1964 at Second Presbyterian Church in Wheeling.Carol Roset, the former Carol Braun, is the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Braun of Wheeling. She is retired from Health Plan.James Roset is the son of the late Joseph and Theda Roset of Bradley, Ohio. He retired from Valley Ford Lincoln Mercury.They have one son, Robert (Janet), and two grandsons, all of Wheeling.

Kenn and Cheryl Sickle of St. Clairsville will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary Sunday, Nov. 9.They were united in marriage Nov. 9, 1984 at Friends Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Clairsville, with the Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating.Cheryl Sickle is the former Cheryl Schwender Murray. She is the daughter of the late Harold O. and Adabelle Davis Schwender of Martins Ferry. Richard and Pamela Ferguson of Wellsburg celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 25.They were united in marriage Oct. 25, 1969 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, with the Rev.
