Patrick S. Casey Named Lawyer of the Year for Northern W.Va. in Health Care Law by ‘Best Lawyers in America’

Patrick S. Casey has been selected once again by his peers for inclusion in the 31st Edition of The Best Lawyers in America, and has also been named Lawyer of the Year by the publication in Health Care Law for the Morgantown area (northern West Virginia).
Casey, managing member of Casey & Chapman, PLLC, also was honored in the latest edition of Best Lawyers in the areas of Health Care Law, Medical Malpractice Defense, Personal Injury Defense and Professional Malpractice Defense.
Casey has been listed in the directory of Best Lawyers in America since 2008 in the areas of Health Care Law, Medical Malpractice Defense, Personal Injury Defense and Professional Malpractice Defense. He was previously selected as Lawyer of the Year" for the Morgantown area in Health Care Law in 2022 and in Professional Malpractice Defense in 2024.

Casey, a 1983 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, focuses his practice in the areas of health care, medical and professional malpractice litigation, general litigation, trial and appellate work. He has represented numerous clients in multiple state and federal courts in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. He has tried numerous cases to verdict including in the areas of medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, sexual harassment and products liability on both the defense and plaintiff sides.
