WEIRTON - The Weir baseball team was looking to make its return to the Weir High Baseball Field a triumphant one. After playing four games Saturday and Sunday down at Myrtle Beach, Weir returned home to take on Union Local, however, the Jets erupted for an offensive explosion scoring a dozen runs on 13 hits as they took down the Red Riders, 12-7, in a high-scoring affair Thursday evening to spoil Weir's return home. Taylor Gauthier Named ECHL Goaltender of the Month

WHEELING – The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are excited to announce that Taylor Gauthier has been selected as Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for March. The Nailers posted their best points percentage (.855) in a single month in team history by going 11-1-1 in 13 games, and Gauthier was a major reason for the team's success.
