ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The best bowlers across the Ohio Valley converged on St. Clair Lanes last week for the annual Ohio vs. West Virginia OVAC All-Star Bowling match, taking place Sunday, March 8. Ohio prevailed in both boys and girls competition, and the boys and girls Coaches of the Year and Bowlers of the Year each went to Ohio schools. MORGANTOWN — By the time pitcher Maxx Yehl walked off the mound, West Virginia baseball concluded its eighth inning on the field. Yehl didn't come out for the ninth and pitched a season-high eight innings, slowly ramping up his Tommy John surgery in the offseason.
