High School Roundup: Wheeling Central Baseball Romps Past Williamstown
WILLIAMSTOWN – Wheeling Central made a successful baseball debut Wednesday with a 16-6 victory over Williamstown. The defending W.Va. Class AA state champions belted out a dozen hits with senior Kade Koroneos recording four – three singles and a triple – that drove in four runs. Clay Petry also knocked in four runs with a three-run homer and sacrifice fly. Matt Criniti and Jake Brown each drove in two runs. Criniti singled and homered, while Brown singled and doubled.
