I am certain that I am not the only Wheeling-area resident who anticipates those green shoots popping up out of the ground, announcing that spring is here.
This yearly tradition of seeing the beautiful bright yellow blooms of daffodils can't help but make me smile -- to see color and rebirth, in what was all previously a hill of brown.
And this lovely green and yellow patch is growing.
To whomever you are, living on West Gate/Gracie Drive, off of GC&P Road, thank you for planting those bulbs in your back yard for us to enjoy.
