Tell me again, why should the taxpayer pay for the general college student's education? Is there supposed to be some kind of benefit to the United States that it provides over that which the non-student doesn't?
You could make a case for the opposite being true!
Or is it just "An act of kindness of some kind"? Which, if that's the case, what kindness to the non student is there? Discrimination? Votes?
