Government Seeks More Control

Parents, please be aware! Wheeling City Council had the first reading of a city ordinance to restrict parent's right to direct their own child's counseling for gender identity!

I attended the Tuesday (April 19) meeting where four people, including me, spoke on an Amendment to City Ordinance 169 that gives the Human Rights Commission more authority in our city. Remember these people (HRC members) are appointed not elected, with the exception of Rosemary Ketchum, therefore they are not accountable for decisions that they make and impose on voters! The council voted (April 19) on nine original propositions with one vote. I truly wish that all parents that want to keep their rights to raise their children without government interference sends emails to the entire city council including the mayor or speak at the next meeting (May 3). Otherwise, we will continue to lose our children to whatever the local or any government that wants to rule over our children.
