Kathleen "Kathy" Sutton, born May 4, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Kathy lived a vibrant life of 83 years, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Kathy was a dedicated and hardworking bartender for most of her professional life. She was adored by her patrons, many of whom became like family, and her coworkers deeply respected her.
Outside of work, Kathy had a passion for gardening, antiquing, music, and dancing. She found joy in dining out and taking trips to the Amish Country with her beloved husband, Bruce. Together, they were an active couple who relished the outdoors, embarking on numerous backpacking adventures and motorcycle trips.
Kathy was Presbyterian by faith, carrying her beliefs with grace and quiet devotion. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, reflecting in her kindness and compassion toward others.
As per Kathy's wishes, there will be no public services. The family plans to celebrate Kathy's life privately at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared with Kathy's family at www.carechapel.com.
