Joyce died at Liza's Place on October 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She now enjoys the company of her parents, Tony Cupp and Bonnie Cupp, who preceded her in death.
She was the loving wife of John Hehr and the devoted mother of Tyler Hehr. She took great pride in being a stepmother to Justin (Dayna) Hehr and Alyson Hehr. She was the daughter-in-law of Bill (Kathy) Hehr and Joanne (Bill) Hooker. She was the youngest of five including Judi (Erv) Hughes, Joey Cupp, Jeannie Ernest, and Jackie Coleman. She earned two more sisters in Tracy (Jason) Brown and Brandi (Eric) McGhee. She was a proud grandmother to Tristin Hehr and a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. She also found great enjoyment in the company of some fur babies over the years.
Joyce had a huge heart and offered help and support to anyone in need. She took great pride in her Irish heritage as evidenced in her natural red hair and her affinity for Notre Dame. Joyce shared her dad's love for humor and especially enjoyed corny jokes. Many thanks to everyone involved in her care at Liza's Place for making her last few days so peaceful.
Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11am, at Corpus Christi Parish in Warwood, with Father Joseph Wiley. Interment to follow at Linwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Joyce's name.
