Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department reports 41 new COVID-19 cases

Ohio County now has seen more than 800 cases of COVID-19 since April, with 41 being reported Saturday by the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department.

Currently, the health department reports a total of 806 cases including nine deaths. Case surveillance, contact tracing, and monitoring continues for many of the reported cases. During Saturday’s mass testing, the health department performed 100 COVID-19 tests on Ohio Valley residents.

Ohio County was in orange Saturday morning on the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources County Alert System map.
