WVU Athletics Adopts Teamworks General Manager Platform

West Virginia University Athletics announced a strategic partnership with Teamworks General Manager to modernize operations as college sports continue to change. The university wants to unify its management systems with this new platform.

The goal of WVU Athletics is to improve the environment so that student-athletes can thrive throughout their time in college. The General Manager platform will link all of the department’s systems, which currently use several Teamworks products.

The university now uses many parts of the Teamworks Operating System for Sports, which includes Compliance and Recruiting, EMR + AMS, Inventory Management, Nutrition, Influencer, Academics, and Hub. Adding a General Manager creates a complete system that gives administrators full visibility across all areas while reducing duplicate work.

Wes French from Teamworks Personnel noted that WVU built a strong foundation with their products, and the General Manager platform will take their capabilities to new heights. He added that this will help them handle industry changes and use resources more effectively.

A major benefit of the General Manager platform is its connection with Teamworks Hub, which keeps rosters and athlete data in sync across platforms. This automation reduces administrative tasks and allows WVU staff to focus more on planning and helping student-athletes develop.

The platform offers practical solutions for the complex challenges athletic departments face today. With features built specifically for college sports administration, it addresses the unique needs of universities like WVU that run many athletic programs across different sports.
