Jennifer Anne Kappas and Brian Lee Applegarth were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Elm Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bryan Carpenter officiating.

Parents of the bride are Mark and Paula Kappas of Wheeling.

Parents of the groom are Richard and Louanne Applegarth of Richmond, Ohio.

Maggi Cupp served as maid of honor. Taylor Cain served as best man.

Other attendants were Kayla Stock; Emily Ramsey; Kim Long; Amanda Gill; Katie Ward; Nate Spears; Richard Duffy Applegarth, brother of the groom; Eric Long; Brian Potkrajac; Michael Snyder, brother of the bride; Jessa Howard; Harper Howard; Preston Ward; Emily Brunker, sister of the groom and Doug Brunker, brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College. She is employed by Growing Generations as a financial specialist.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Edison High School. He is a member of the Carpenters Local 186 of Steubenville. He is employed as a journeyman carpenter with Cattrell Company of Toronto.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Richmond.
