Alexis Noel Tonacchio and Joseph John Mahoney were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Holy Name Church in Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne, Pa. The Rev. Dennis Colamarino officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Domenick and Muriel Tonacchio of Weirton.
The groom is the son of Charles and Deborah Mahoney of Burgettstown.
Amber Tonacchio, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Peter Rivetti served as best man.

A reception was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Coraopolis, Pa.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Weir High School, a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a 2012 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in early childhood education and reading. She is a third-grade teacher at East Garfield Elementary School in Steubenville.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Weir High School, a 2008 graduate of Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and psychology and a 2010 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a master’s degree in social work. He is the supervisor of mental health programs for Intermediate Unit 1 in Washington, Fayette, and Greene counties in Pennsylvania.
After a wedding trip to at Sandals Grande Resort in Antigua, the couple resides in Pittsburgh.
