Caity Jo Battista and Geoffrey Eric Howe were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept, 13, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling. The Rev. George Smoulder officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is daughter of Mark and Vickey Battista of Benwood.
The groom is the son of Edie Roll of Moundsville and Greg and Sue Howe of Moundsville.
Jenna Battista, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Kristen Shores was matron of honor. Frankie Regiec served as best man.
Other attendants were Kari Bryan, Whitney Regiec, Stacey Dunfee, Brittany Steele, Jessica Cox, Katelyn Sell, Joe Grecco, Kevin Hatfield, Jeff Robbins, Paul Brown, Marc Baker, Mason Yoders and Jeff Henderson.
A reception was held at St. Jude Hall, Glen Dale.
The bride is a graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as an oncology registered nurse at Wheeling Hospital.
The groom is a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering. He is employed as a mine engineer with Murray American Energy Inc.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Moundsville.
