WHEELING -- Grammy-nominated and award-winning musician and producer Victor Wainwright will bring his four-piece band to Wheeling's Waterfront Hall on Wednesday, April 17.
Presented by Heritage Music BluesFest, the show begins at 8 p.m.
"From an intimate piano bar performance on the Legendary Blues Cruise to his 2022 Heritage Music BluesFest performance with Victor Wainwright and the Train, Victor never fails to deliver standout performances," said Bruce A Wheeler, Heritage Music BluesFest producer. "Victor's return to Wheeling promises to be another stellar evening of piano-based blues featuring Pat Harrington on guitar and bassist Terrance 'Sweet Tea' Grayson."
Among his numerous accolades, Wainwright has won six Blues Music Awards, charted No. 1 on the Top 10 in the U.S. Billboard and was nominated for a 2019 Grammy.
Though his career began over a decade ago with genuine rock'n'roll honky-tonk, Wainwright has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the roots music world. His insatiable interest in music discovery, sheer love for entertaining and curiosity have led him all around the world, and the resulting perspective is a reflection of his passion for entertaining and creating progressive roots music in an effort to move the art form forward.
Composer, producer, vocalist and award-wining entertainer and piano player, Wainwright is a raucous high-octane, dynamic performer and crowd pleaser with soul to spare.

Waterfront Hall is located at 1230 Water St., Wheeling.
