‘Witches of Eastwick’ on Towngate Theatre’s Big Screen Tonight

WHEELING -- The clever, fantasy comedy "The Witches of Eastwick" is showing on the Towngate Theatre big screen for one night only - Friday, Oct. 27.
The film is part of Towngate's popular Dinner and A Movie film series.
"The Witches of Eastwick" follows three best friends, played by Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer, who find out they have magical powers when they are together. When they wish for their perfect man, an inexplicably charismatic and mysterious stranger, played by Jack Nicholson, arrives in their lives. As time passes, they begin to question his motives. Have they unintentionally summoned the devil?
The film debuted in 1987 and is based on the John Updike novel of the same name.
"The Witches of Eastwick" will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Cost of the film is $8, and no reservations are required.
