STEUBENVILLE -- What would you be willing to do for $1 billion?
Franciscan University's Theatre Department will explore this and other tough questions with their latest performance.
"The Visit," creatively considered a tragicomedy, will be performed Nov. 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 10 and 17 at 2 p.m. in Anathan Theatre located on the ground level of Egan Hall.
Directed by Dr. Monica Anderson, "The Visit" tells the story of a destitute town that must choose between the money offered to it by a now-wealthy former citizen, Claire Zachanassian, and the life of the town's most popular citizen on whose head Zachanassian has placed a bounty.
Admission is free for clergy, religious orders and children under 12.
Tickets may be reserved by calling 740-283-6245, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or bought at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis.
