Fish Fry
St, Jude Catholic Church in Glen Dale will hold a fish fry at the church hall from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday. Take-out orders also will be available. Call 304-845-2646 for local delivery if ordered by 10 a.m. for lunch and by 3 p.m. for dinner.
Ladies League
The Ladies League of Marshall County will hold its annual membership tea at Trinity Episcopal Church's Neal Hall in Moundsville at 6 p.m. Monday.
Workshop
A free Lunch & Learn workshop, "Antibiotics: Do We Need Them?" will be presented by pharmacy supervisor Jennifer Dunlap at Harrison Community Hospital's cafeteria in Cadiz at noon Thursday.
Attendees may bring their own lunch or purchase one in the cafeteria. A snack and beverages will be provided. Reservations are not needed.
Garage-Soup Sale
Warwood United Methodist Church, 1438 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, will hold a garage and soup sale from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday. Household items, tools, jewelry, decorations and other items will be available for purchase. Vegetable soup and chicken noodle soup will be sold by the quart.
Dance Lessons
Valley Rounds will begin dance lessons at the Triadelphia town hall at 6 p.m. Oct. 7. Participants need a partner to learn the waltz, cha cha, rumba and other dances. For more information, call 304-312-6572.
Computer Help
The Brooke County Public Library, 844 Main St., Follansbee, will offer computer help from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Participants may bring a charged device or use one of the library's computers. Class space is limited and registration is required.

Book Sale
A used book sale will be held at the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library's garage on Tomlinson Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Oct. 7 and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and Oct. 8. The Moundsville Woman's Club is the sponsor of the sale; all proceeds benefit the library.
Dungeons & Dragons
The Brooke County Public Library, 945 Main St., Wellsburg, will hold Dungeons & Dragons classes for middle and high school students from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 8, Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. Registration is not required.

Rockin' at the Ritz
Breast cancer survivors will be honored at the annual Rockin' at the Ritz event from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 10 at Wheeling Hospital's auditorium. Reservations are required by Monday and may be made by calling 304-243-6412 or 304-243-3138.
Each attendee may bring one guest. Appetizers and desserts will be served. Basket raffles, door prizes and entertainment will be offered. All proceeds support Wheeling Hospital cancer patients undergoing treatment.
Pumpkin Contest
The Brooke County Public Library, 945 Main St., Wellsburg, will hold a pumpkin decorating contest, for children in preschool through eighth grade, at 5 p.m. Friday in connection with the Wellsburg Applefest. Participants are to use the library's back entrance. Registration is required. Pumpkins are limited.
