Elizabeth “Becky” (Rex) Helmsing of Powhatan Point and Scott (Colleen) Barbour of Clearwater, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter Alicia Ann Barbour to Christopher Nathan Jackson, son of George “Bob” and Dawn Jackson of Powhatan Point.
Barbour is a 2003 graduate of River High School. She is employed as a union customer service adviser at Highmark of West Virginia.
Jackson is a 2001 graduate of River High School and a 2005 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting. He is employed at WesBanco Bank as a assistant audit officer.
An Oct. 24 wedding is being planned.
