Norma and Fred Holmes of Moundsville celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 7.Fred Holmes is retired from the Marx Toy plant and served in World War II as an ambulance driver. Norma Holmes is a homemaker.They are the parents of Sue (Joe) Church, Kathy (Denny) Philipps and Sonja (B.J.) Widmer. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Conners Mark 60 Years

Bob "Cy" and Charlotte "Punkey" Conner of Wheeling will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 25.They were united in marriage June 25, 1955 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Wheeling, by the late Rev. Lee.Charlotte Conner is the daughter of the late Ed and Ethel Kramer of Wheeling.
