Cecils Reach 50 Years

Loren and Phyllis Cecil of Moundsville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage on July 23, 1966. Loren Cecil retired from Ohio Power’s Kammer Plant, and Phyllis Cecil retired from BB&T. Their children are Melissa (Kevin) Jones          of Charleston and Kevin (Anne) Cecil of Hurricane. They have four            granddaughters. A family celebration will be held in their honor in Charleston.

Andrew and Joyce Weisal of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage on July 30, 1966, in the Stone Presbyterian Church in Elm Grove, Wheeling. Pete and Nancy Rohal of Weirton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 1966, at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Steubenville. Pete Rohal is the son of the late Pete and Anna Rohal of Weirton. He was a science teacher, teaching anatomy and physiology and advanced biology, for more than 40 years at Weir High School. Mennillo Celebrates 95th

Virginia Petrini Mennillo of Warwood, Wheeling, celebrated her 95th birthday on Saturday. She was born Aug. 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Louis and Maryann Magistro Petrini. She was married to the late Marco Mennillo for 68 years. She worked at Cooke Wait, Sterling Drug and Warwood Stamping. Her family includes a son, Domenico “Butch,” and his wife, Julie, of Wheeling; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family hosted a surprise dinner for her Saturday at Undo’s in Elm Grove, Wheeling.
