They were united in marriage on June 9, 1956, at Riley Hill Chapel in Warwood, Wheeling, by the Rev. Ramond Barbe. Betty Danhart is the daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Derr. She is retired from Holiday Inn. Dave Danhart Sr. is the son of the late William and Belva Danhart. He is retired from American Electric Power. They have three children and several grandchildren. Gregory and Palma Sheldon of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage on June 11, 1966. Palma Sheldon is the daughter of the late Mike and Victoria Socha. She is retired from Stone & Thomas and WesBanco Bank of Wheeling. Gregg Sheldon is the son of the late Cecil and Regina Sheldon. He is retired from WESCO. They are the parents of two children: Tina (Ramsey) Rahi and Mark Sheldon of Wheeling. Two grandchildren complete the family. They celebrated with a family dinner.

Charles W. and Helge B. Terrill of Wheeling celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were united in marriage under German law on June 11, 1965, in Nellingen, Germany, officiated by the city mayor, and by U.S. law on June 26, 1965, officiated by a U.S. Army chaplain. Helge B. Terrill was born in Lampertheim, Germany, daughter of the late Ludwig and Katharine Rupp. She is retired from the U.S. Army, Air Force Exchange Services. She became an American citizen in 1977.
