Ralph and Mary Jo Koontz of New Martinsville celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 14.
Mary Jo is the daughter of the late Francis and Alice Lemasters of Dale, W.Va.
Ralph is the son of the late Andrew and Mabel Koontz of New Martinsville.
Their family includes Dale and his wife Malynda, Gary and his wife Tracy, six grandchildren, one special granddaughter, five great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
Ralph retired from Union Carbide after 32 years, and Mary Joe retired from the Post Office after 20 years.
They were married on the evening of June 14, 1956, in the bride's home at Dale, W.Va., by the late Willard E. Fortney of Clarksburg, W.Va. They honeymooned through West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana.
