Dr. Richard and Marian Mullin of Wheeling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
They were united in marriage on Nov. 24, 1966, at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Green Tree, Pa.
Richard Mullin is retired after 30 years as a professor of philosophy at Wheeling Jesuit University.
Marian Mullin is retired after 29 years teaching accounting and economics at West Liberty University.
They enjoy traveling, art museums and t'ai chi.
They are the parents of Matt (Dana) Mullin of Fishers, Ind.; Marcus (Lisa) Mullin of Wheeling; and Dr. Richard (Kayla) Mullin of Morgantown. They have seven grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with family on Saturday.
