Fred and Billie (Gautschi) Russell of Wheeling celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
They were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1950 in Wheeling.
Fred Gautschi is a retired electrician from IBEW 141.
They are the parents of Peggy (Gene) Kuznicki and Debbie (Joe) Carpenter, of Shadyside; and Jim (Cindy) Russell, Karen (Leonard) Rycerz and Jackie (Chad) Martin, all of Wheeling.
They have nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
They are celebrating the occasion with a family gathering today.
