Allen and Arelena Horner of Moundsville celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 17.
They were united in marriage on April 17, 1970 at Waymans Ridge United Methodist Church, where they are still active members, by the Rev. Edgar Cole.
Arelana Horner is the daughter of the late John D. and Ellen I. Heath. She is retired from the Northern Panhandle Employment and Training Council.
Allen Horner is the son of Quay M. and Elizabeth Horner. He is retired from Knight’s Farm Supply in Glen Easton.
The Horners remain active with family, church, traveling and truck pulling.
They are the parents of two children, Allen Desmond and Aaron Quay and his wife, Natalie, all of Moundsville.
The couple celebrated with a family dinner and the Charlie Daniels Band concert. A summer trip also is planned.
