WHEELING — President Donald J. Trump will be in Wheeling Saturday, Sept. 29, for a “Make America Great Again” rally set for WesBanco Arena, his campaign announced this evening.

The event, set for 7 p.m., will feature the president showcasing the nation’s growing economy and also stress the importance of the midterm elections, particularly the U.S. Senate race between incumbent Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.

This will mark President Trump’s fourth rally in West Virginia and his first in Wheeling. He previously visited Wheeling as a guest of Murray Energy Corp. CEO Robert Murray for an event also at WesBanco Arena.

“We are pleased to announce our next scheduled Make America Great Again rally on Saturday, September 29 in Wheeling, West Virginia featuring President Donald Trump,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “The President looks forward to celebrating the growing success of the Trump economy, and encouraging West Virginians to get out and vote for Patrick Morrisey for the U.S. Senate.”

The event is free and open to the public. Doors at WesBanco Arena open at 4 p.m. Saturday. Tickets can be reserved at www.donaldjtrump.com/rallies/wv-sept-2018.
