Louis F. "Fred" and Constance S. Gross of Shadyside celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 30.
They were united in marriage Dec. 30, 1966, by the Rev. Alfred MCleese at the former First Reformed Church of Christ in Bellaire.
Constance Gross is the daughter of the late Leonard and Eleanor Cross. She is a 1965 graduate of Shadyside High School and retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Va.
Louis Gross is the son of the late Melvin and Mary Gross. He is a 1959 graduate of Shadyside High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He also retired from the CIA.
They celebrated with a cocktail party and dinner with family and friends at Undo's West in St. Clairsville.
