Rick and Cindy Parker of Weirton are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary.
They were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 1971, at the old St. Paul Catholic Church on County Road, Weirton.
Cindy Parker is the daughter of the late Jack and Grace McQuain. She worked as a substitute aide in Hancock County Schools.
Rick Parker is the son of the late Stanley and Roselyn Parker. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp.
They have two children: Jody (Chris) Desiderio of Weirton and Ryan (Carey) Parker of Toledo; and two granddaughters.
A family celebration was held at Lake Erie in August.
