Lewis and Wanda Williamson of Sardis will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
They were united in marriage on Sept. 16, 1950.
Lewis Williamson is a graduate of Sardis High School and is retired from Conalco Aluminum.
Wanda Williams on was a stay-at-home mother to five children and received a high school diploma in 1969 from River High School, the same school her children attended.
The family includes Michael (deceased), Elaine, David and Mark, all of Sardis, and Larry of Middlebourne. They have 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The couple plans to celebrate with a family dinner at Riverview Restaurant in Lewis’ hometown of Fly and a short trip to Sugarcreek.
