Rosemarie and Harry Raleigh Wilson are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Aug. 30.
They were united in marriage Aug. 28, 1965, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Benwood, with the Rev. Michael Sazy, Msgr. Joseph Wanstreet and the Rev. Harold Moore officiating.
Rosemarie Wilson is the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Prascik.
Raleigh Wilson is the son of the late Arthur and Zelma Wilson.
They are parents of two children: a son, Carl (Amy) Wilson, and a daughter, Karin (Hoppy) Kercheval.
They have three granddaughters and a step- grandson.
Following a renewal mass at St. James Catholic Church in McMechen officiated by the Rev. Bekeh Utietiang, a reception for immediate family will take place at the McMechen Fireman’s Hall.
