Joe and Julie Plumly of Somerton announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Marie Plumly, to Dustin Louis Starr, son of Charles and Regina Starr of Temperanceville.
Plumly is a 2009 graduate of Barnesville High School and a 2013 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Wheeling Hospital.
Starr is a 2011 graduate of Barnesville High School and Belmont Career Center. He is employed at Ace Pipeline.
An Aug. 9 wedding is planned at Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville.
