Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack Will Ring In 2026 With ‘Disco Countdown’

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack invites the public to ring in the New Year in style tonight as the venue hosts its Disco Countdown 2026 with live music, promotions and more.
The New Year's Eve celebration will take place today at locations throughout Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack.
DJ Daner will be spinning tunes on the casino floor by the buffet beginning at 9 p.m. and Eli and The Mojo Kings will perform a countdown concert for free.
Doors to the Showroom open at 8:30 p.m., and Eli and the Mojo Kings take the stage at 9 p.m.
There will be a balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight.
Party favors will be available for guests from 10 p.m. to midnight at various locations throughout the property including at The Island Stage and the Party Pit.
A photo booth outside the Showroom will be available from 6 p.m. to midnight to allow guests to capture memories and a photo backdrop will be set up at the Party Pit so revelers can snap their own New Year's Eve pictures.
A T-shirt giveaway will be held in the racing lobby from 1-5 p.m. for those making a racing wager.
There will be table game hot seats with $100 going to winners every 30 minutes. There will also be special drawings for Lucky North Club members as well as other New Year's promotions.
Dining specials will be available in the new Cask & Clover Kitchen and Bar from 11 a.m. to midnight and at The Pointe Sea & Steak from 5-10 p.m.
There will be an Island Buffet special from 2-10 p.m. today featuring a steak and seafood extravaganza.
On Thursday, a New Year's Day Brunch will be featured from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Slots Hot Seats will be featured on New Year's Day with 10 winners of $100 slot free plays awarded every hour.
