Helen G. Yocum, 90, of Moundsville, WV; passed away November 27, 2025 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV.
She was born April 14, 1935; the daughter of the late Bessie (Jackson) and Ira Franklin.
Helen was a former secretary for Senator John Carrigan and former teacher's aide for Marshall County Board of Education. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time at her camp at Fish Creek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Yocum; two sisters, Annetta Allen and Lorretta Francis; two brothers, William and David Franklin; and son-in-law, Pete Prettyman.
Survivors include four children, Joe (Jana) Yocum of Moundsville, Teresa (John) Becker of Shadyside, Jamie Prettyman of Glen Dale and Mike Yocum of Moundsville; five grandchildren, Jeremy Yocum, Jennifer Laquaglia, Lou (Katherine) Laquaglia, Zoe (Joel) Warshaw, Robbie (Jen) Kinkade; thirteen great-grand- children; and several nieces and nephews.
