Weirton, Follansbee Officials Accept Challenge From Salvation Army

Weirton 6th Ward Councilman Anthony Rocchio, left photo, and Follansbee Mayor Scott McMahon and 4th Ward Councilman Rudy Cipriani, right photo, were among representatives of the city who accepted a challenge to Weirton and Follansbee officials from leaders of the Brooke-Hancock Salvation Army to raise the most money as bell ringers for the charity's Christmas kettle campaign. Other volunteers are invited to join them in manning the kettles and raising funds for local families in need outside multiple businesses in Brooke and Hancock counties Monday through Saturday through Dec. 24.
